5 Way Navigation Switch

This 5 way navigation switch is 5 switches in one and a little like a mini joystick. It switches in 4 directions north, south, east and west or if you prefer up, down, left, right. You can also push down with a nice audible click.

It comes it a through-hole snap in package but doesn’t conform perfectly to a 2.54mm grid. With a bit of bending of the pins it can be made to fit into a perfboard or breadboard.


schottky diode

The Schottky Diode was named after the German physicist Walter H. Schottky. All diodes have a forward voltage drop. Schottky diodes use a different mechanism which allows them to have a much lower drop. This also enables them to switch faster. In stock now are 2 schottky diodes:
