This neat little cable is perfect for programming a microcontroller on a breadboard.

IDC connectors don’t play well with breadboards, and there are plenty of methods to get around this problem. This cable is by far the best method we’ve seen so far. Simply plug one end of the cable into your programmer and the other into you breadboard.
