Description
The Melexis US1881 is a Latching Hall Effect sensor. What does this mean? Simply put, it detects a magnetic field. Expose the front of the sensor to a north pole and the latch turns on. Flip the magnet round and expose the south pole to the sensor and the latch turns off.
